COINEX is the showpiece annual coin fair of the British Numismatic Trade Association (BNTA), held each autumn in London's Mayfair. Though compact — typically a few dozen dealers — it gathers many of Britain's leading numismatic firms and major auction houses in one room.
It is regarded as the principal trade event on the UK numismatic calendar.
The BNTA was founded in 1973, and COINEX has run as the association's flagship London fair for over four decades.
Expect a high-quality bourse of established British and international dealers — names such as Baldwin's, Spink, Morton & Eden, Noonan's and Stack's Bowers among the regulars — covering ancient, British and world coins, medals and tokens. The emphasis is on dealer quality rather than floor size.
